We are seeking a Consultant General Adult Psychiatrist for a full time position in a rural hospital with a diverse scope of practice. Located in one of New Zealand's most popular locations, this position offers a permanent employment contract, relocation package and attractive remuneration. 40 hour week plus an equal share of the on-call roster you will be working within the community mental health and addictions multidisciplinary clinical team, the acute inpatient unit at the local hospital plus with NGO and primary care providers. you will be part of a team of three senior medical officers supporting two registrars and a house officer, looking after a diverse population. manage patients with acute and chronic psychiatric disorders, substance abuse and addictions and elderly patients.
